Job Full Description

Position Summary:
The Tablet Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the capsule machine, ensuring quality and compliance throughout production. Operators must remain at the machine while in operation and monitor product quality, submitting samples for QC approval as required.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up tablet press with supervisor and verify proper punches.

  • Feed material and confirm correct blend is used.

  • Submit samples to QC for approval and monitor product quality throughout run.

  • Record machine data (weights, thickness, hardness) every 30 minutes.

  • Document breaks, operator changes, and downtime.

  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with GMP standards.

  • Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance per SOPs.

  • Label product containers accurately per batch ticket.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Prior experience in nutraceutical or solid dosage manufacturing preferred.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

  • Good communication and ability to follow written/verbal instructions in English.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
