Experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: Carteret, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Fully On-Site

We are hiring an experienced, in-office Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support logistics and warehouse operations in Carteret, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented multitasker with strong logistics knowledge and the ability to manage customer accounts from start to finish.

Minimum Requirements (Do NOT apply if you do not meet all):

  • 4–5+ years of in-office customer service experience 

  • Proficiency in Extensiv is required

  • Experience with AS400 and/or SAP preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills – including PivotTables & VLOOKUP

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Key Responsibilities

Customer Account Management

  • Manage assigned accounts from order entry to final delivery

  • Enter and verify orders, billing, BOLs, and shipment data

  • Ensure proper documentation is attached and submitted on time

Inbound Coordination

  • Set up inbound shipments and verify paperwork upon arrival

  • Ensure accurate inventory details (MU’s, counts, locations, damages)

  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies to customers immediately

Reporting and Documentation

  • Generate reports: Stock Status, Item Activity, Receivers, etc.

  • Prepare EOD recaps and next-day activity reports for management

Scheduling and Logistics

  • Coordinate pickups/deliveries and maintain shipment calendars

  • Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve issues efficiently

Office and Team Support

  • Assist team members during absences or peak volume

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and inbox

  • Follow all internal procedures and safety protocols
