Bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Assistant
📍 Location: Carteret, NJ
🕘 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
We are hiring a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Assistant to join a growing distribution company in Carteret, NJ.
Must-Have Requirements
👉 Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
👉 1+ years of HR experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (required)
👉 Experience using ADP Workforce Now (required)

What You’ll Do

Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation

Answer employee and applicant questions on policies, benefits, and hiring processes

Screen candidates and schedule interviews

Onboard and train new employees while reinforcing company culture and policies

Handle high-volume phone calls and employee inquiries
-
Manage project deadlines and scan/file paperwork in a timely manner

Assist with payroll functions, including processing and resolving errors

Prepare HR reports for management

Track attendance records for warehouse employees
-
Serve as a liaison between warehouses and corporate headquarters

Monitor office supply inventory and maintain distribution center calendars

Support company events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition, and celebrations

Conduct periodic HR file audits to ensure compliance

Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR department

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Experience in the warehouse/distribution industry is a strong plus
