Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklifts (reach truck, electric pallet jack, cherry picker if applicable) safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Pick and pull orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and good attendance record
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures (may be cold or hot depending on season)
- Fast-paced environment with moderate to heavy lifting
