Job Opportunity: Construction/Carpentry
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and organized Construction/Carpentry Associate to join our team at a Rio Rancho manufacturing company. If you have strong construction/carpentry skills, are detail-oriented, and can handle a busy environment, we’d love to have you on board!
Job Duties:
-
- Build shipping crates according to product specification
- Utilize common manual and power tools
- Measure and cut wood, foam and harnesses
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks with product
- Scrap unusable inventory
- Perform some preventative building maintenance that does not require a licensed professional
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor
Physical Requirements:
-
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and legs
- Manual and finger dexterity
- Near vision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
