Job Full Description
Schedule: 3:30pm-12am, M-F plus OT
This role provides hands-on leadership to ensure a safe, organized, and high-quality work environment. The assembler lead supports daily operations, drives continuous improvement, and plays a key role in team performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Train team members on equipment, tools, and safe work practices
- Assign and prioritize daily work based on production schedules
- Conduct daily start-of-shift meetings and communicate goals
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the department
- Monitor workflow and ensure efficiency and quality targets are met
- Support and lead problem-solving initiatives (QRI1/QRI2)
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Use ERP system to confirm operations and manage materials
- Communicate effectively with team and escalate issues as needed
- Act as liaison between team and management
Requirements
- 2–5 years of warehouse experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to train employees and enforce safety standards
- Quick learner with a focus on continuous improvement
