We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by implementing safety programs, conducting training, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards, as well as the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to employees.

Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and EHS standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including investigations and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Provide training on first aid, CPR, and other safety protocols to employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for reducing workplace injuries and improving overall safety culture.
• Stay updated on changes in OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers' compensation laws to ensure organizational compliance.
• Assist in the fabrication of safety equipment or modifications as necessary to enhance workplace safety.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a safety coordinator role or similar position within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EHS regulations, and workers' compensation law.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and concisely.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to occupational health are preferred.
• Ability to analyze data related to workplace injuries and develop actionable plans for improvement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train employees on safety practices effectively.
• Proficient in using safety management software and tools for tracking compliance metrics.
