Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Fredonia, NY client.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for our Maintenance Technician position, with responsibilities in groundskeeping and painting. This role is essential in maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of our facilities and outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Groundskeeping
- Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas including mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering
- Remove debris, snow, and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Painting
- Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, patching, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper storage of materials
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or painting preferred
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Hours are M-F 9 am to 5 pm part-time. Pay is $17.00/hr.
