Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Corry, PA client. Our client is looking for Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Assist with installation of new equipment and facility upgrades
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, walking, and bending for periods of time.
- Working in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise)
Pay is $20-$25/hr based on experience.
