Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an Engineer for our Falconer, NY client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining engineering systems and solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions based on project requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions and improve existing systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software, or related field).
- [5]+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with sustainability and environmental impact considerations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
