Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Titusville, PA client. Our client is looking for a CNC Programmer. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience in large CNC milling machines to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs for complex components, ensuring high-quality production and efficient machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify CNC programs for large milling machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding methods for large-scale parts.
- Set up and operate large CNC mills during prototype and first-run production.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cycle times.
- Perform test runs and validate programs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and tooling specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments to programs or setups.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Evertyhing will be moved with a crane
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum [X] years of experience programming and operating large CNC milling machines.
- Proficiency in G-code and CAM software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, precision measurement tools, and machining principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD files.
- Experience with large part fixturing and multi-axis machining preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Hours are M-F 40-45 hours a week. Pay is $60,000-$75,000/year.
