Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for our Dunkirk, NY client. Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. This position would be responsible for programming, setting-up and operating machines. Guide and mentor Operators and General Laborers in all manufacturing settings.
Duties include the following:
- Modify electronic part program for CNC Equipment
- Program, set-up and operate lathes, mills and CNC Machines
- Read Blueprints and perform geometric and statistical calculations to run machines to proper specifications.
- Set-up and run manual machines such as grinders, mills and lathes.
High school diploma or equivalent including 2 year trade school is required
At least two years of experience working with maching equipment such as lathes and mills including CNC Machines.
Hours are M-F 7am to 330 pm and some Saturday hours from 7 am to 12 pm. Pay is between $20-$25 based on experience.
