Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Falconer, NY client. Our client is looking for Mechanical Parts Assembler. This position would entail:
The Mechanical Parts Assembler plays a critical role in the production process by assembling, testing, and inspecting industrial hoses to ensure they meet stringent quality and safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality products that support our customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and crimp hoses according to specifications
- Perform pressure testing and quality inspections to verify functionality
- Identify and report defective materials or unsafe conditions
- Operate tools and machinery such as crimpers, saws, and measuring devices
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols
- Accurately complete production records and documentation
- Assist with inventory management and material restocking as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required—training provided
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in compliance with Midwest Hose Safety Standards and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Have a High school diploma or GED
Hours are M-F 11 pm to 7 am and the pay is $17.00/hr.
