Position Summary:
Our client is looking for a General Laborer will assist with preparing and finishing interior surfaces, including painting, sanding, and wallpaper removal. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable performing hands-on tasks in residential and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare interior surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and smoothing walls.
- Remove existing wallpaper, adhesives, and damaged materials.
- Assist with taping, edging, priming, and other paint preparation tasks.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes under supervision or according to project scope.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project.
- Follow safety procedures and use equipment (ladders, sanders, scrapers, etc.) properly.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools as needed.
- Support other general labor tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in painting, sanding, or general labor preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Good work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working indoors and around dust, paint, and basic hand tools.
Starting wage: $16hr
