Express Employment Professionals is looking for a temporary Parts Coordinator for about a month. This position supports the Maintenance Department by managing all parts, inventory, documentation, and preventative maintenance coordination. Ensures parts availability, accurate records, and compliance with safety and quality standards. this is a 2nd shift position 2 PM to 1030 PM pay is $20/HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
- Process parts requisitions in SAP and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Receive, catalog, store, and issue parts; maintain 100% accountability of the parts room.
- Track part locations, documentation, and PM records.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Purchasing, suppliers, and auditors.
- Prepare parts kits for scheduled maintenance work.
- Communicate lead times and order status to requestors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with daily/weekly/yearly PM program monitoring.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventative maintenance.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Good communication, customer focus, and teamwork.
- Ability to work within a budget and independently.
Experience & Education:
- High School Diploma required; Business or related field preferred.
- 3+ years maintenance parts room experience preferred.
- Food/beverage manufacturing experience a plus.
