Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Salamanca, NY client.
The Assemblers are responsible for assembling parts using a variety of hand tools while working collaboratively on one of several assembly lines. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble parts at a panel claw assembly station using rivet and rivnut guns as part of a team
- Meet or exceed established production rates and quality standards
- Accurately complete and maintain required production paperwork
- Load finished parts onto skids in accordance with company shipping protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including end-of-shift cleanup
- Assist on the paint line by hanging or removing parts as needed
- Support the AKRO assembly line by assembling parts when required
- Provide support in other areas as assigned to meet production needs
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving arms, hands, and wrists
Hours are M- F 5 am to 330 pm with mandatory Saturday hours as well. $16.00 hr to start.
