Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Falconer, NY client.
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting precision-machined components with extremely tight tolerances and ensuring all products meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts with tight tolerances (± 0.0001")
- Use precision measuring instruments, including:
- Dial indicators
- Micrometers (OD, ID, and thread)
- Bore gauges
- Height gauges
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and report nonconforming parts and support corrective actions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and/or FARO Arm
- Understanding of machining processes and shop practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $22–$34 per hour, based heavily on experience
- Hours: 7:00 AM to at least 3:30 PM, with regular overtime opportunities
