Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration systems, and facility equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, piping systems, control panels, pneumatic systems, and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to maximize machine uptime and operational efficiency.
- Train and assist other maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance and setup procedures.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work orders, repairs, equipment history, and parts usage.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to reduce downtime.
- Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and housekeeping requirements.
- Participate in department meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of machine maintenance and repair experience required.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Utilities Operator, Refrigeration Technician, or Preventative Maintenance Technician preferred.
- Manufacturing, processing, food production, beverage production, or GMP environment experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment.
- Must be able to pass a maintenance aptitude assessment.
