Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift
Position Details:
- 1st Shift
- 60-Day Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
- Pay increases every 15 days during the 60-day probationary period, based on performance, attendance, and reliability

Essential Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, isolate, and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic malfunctions.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Rebuild machinery, components, and attachments, including disassembly, inspection, repair, machining, and component replacement.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and work orders to complete maintenance activities.
- Utilize testing instruments and diagnostic equipment to identify equipment issues and verify repairs.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements when troubleshooting and repairing energized equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience with power transmission equipment, conveyors, motors, bearings, and gearboxes preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC machining centers and operations is a plus.
Requirements:
- Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and parts as required.
