Our client is seeking an Office Assistant with procurement experience to support their operations. This position involves managing the procurement process for government contracts (95% of their clients), including handling bids, placing orders, and fulfilling shipments. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review RCW’s and obtain competitive bids from 3–4 vendors.

  • Assist in the procurement process, including placing customer orders and purchases.

  • Fulfill orders, prepare shipments, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Track and document purchasing activity for compliance and accountability.

  • Maintain organized procurement records and files.

  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal staff.

  • Provide general office support as needed.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong organizational and computer skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple bids, orders, and deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.

  • Experience handling government clients/contracts.
