Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Description
We’re hiring a skilled Trailer Mechanic for our client in Salt Point, NY. This position involves working on larger trailers, diagnosing and repairing issues, and ensuring high-quality maintenance and service. This is a hands-on role with the potential to grow into multiple openings as the business expands.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair trailers and related equipment
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks
Use own tools and specialized shop equipment
Occasionally perform road service calls (not immediate)
Assist with repairs on other machinery when trailers aren’t in service
Qualifications
Proven experience as a trailer or vehicle mechanic
Must have own tools and tool set
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently
Previous experience with tractors, trailers, or cars preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
