Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC machines (horizontal/vertical) to produce high-precision aerospace parts.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and analyze complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings (travelers).
- Quality Assurance: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM) to inspect parts for compliance with customer specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Adjust machine feeds, speeds, and tool offsets to correct deviations and maintain tight tolerances.
- Compliance: Adhere to AS9100 quality management systems and NADCAP accreditation standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC machinist, preferably in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with G and M codes; familiarity with CAD/CAM software is often required.
- Mathematics: Strong math skills for calculating dimensions and interpreting tool paths.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure safety-critical components meet standards.
