Job Full Description
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Build, wrap, and strap pallets for shipment
- Move packages weighing up to 50 lbs by hand
- Operate freight moving equipment
- Sort, organize, and log incoming and outgoing packages
- Assist with container loading and securing cargo
- Pack and prepare boxes for shipment
- Assist customers with packing and wrapping their shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Record shipment details and communicate with team members
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a strong plus:
- Loading ocean containers
- Loading and securing vehicles inside shipping containers
- Pallet building and cargo securing
- Air cargo or freight forwarding operations
