Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a full time, permanent position as a Delivery Driver/Technician. $20-$22 DOE.
Role Overview
The Installer and Technician is responsible for the high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial pools and spas.
Key Responsibilities

Installation: Assist in the physical installation of above-ground and in-ground pools and hot tubs, including site preparation and equipment pad setup.

Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, filters, salt systems, and automation controls.

Plumbing & Electrical: Perform PVC pipe fitting and basic electrical wiring for pool components (heaters, lights, and timers).

Maintenance: Perform seasonal openings and closings (winterization), vacuuming, and filter cleaning.

Water Chemistry: Test water quality and apply appropriate chemicals to ensure a balanced and safe swimming environment.

Customer Service: Clearly explain equipment operation to homeowners and provide professional recommendations for upgrades or repairs.
Qualifications & Skills

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on skills with power tools and a solid understanding of how mechanical systems work.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and find efficient solutions on-site.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stay active throughout the day.

Communication: Friendly demeanor with the ability to talk to customers and teammates effectively.

Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.

Experience: Prior experience in pool service, construction, plumbing, or HVAC is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
