Job Description:
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist seeking an exciting opportunity in a dynamic metalworking environment? Express Employment is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our client’s team as a CNC Machinist.
Responsibilities:
As a Metal Working CNC Machinist at, you will play a crucial role in our production process, operating a range of advanced CNC machines to create precision components.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating Mill Turn Center machines to produce intricate parts and components.
• Utilizing Horizontal Milling 4 Axis machines to accurately shape and cut materials.
• Proficiently operating Swiss Turn machines to create complex turned parts.
• Executing Multi-Axis 5 Axis machining to craft intricate and detailed components.
• Ensuring the highest level of precision and quality in all machined parts.
• Collaborating with our engineering team to interpret blueprints, specifications, and CAD models.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in operating Mill Turn Center machines, Horizontal Milling 4 Axis machines, Swiss Turn machines, Multi-Axis 5 Axis machines
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code interpretation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility in work hours to accommodate production demands.
Skills:
Proficient in operating CNC milling machines and other machining equipment
Knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and precision measurement tools such as bore gauges and calipers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
Familiarity with CAD software for design modifications
Competence in welding techniques is a plus
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred
