Make fillet, lap, butt, and other welds to required specifications, strengths, and pressures.

Use hoists, cranes, clamps, and jigs to handle and position materials.

Clean, brush, and grind surfaces before and after welding.

Mark and identify pieces with job numbers and required information.

Move completed material to the next workstation or holding area.

Maintain accurate production and time records.

Detect and report faulty equipment or defective materials.

Keep equipment and work area clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
