Chemical Assembler – Production & Processing
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Chemical Assemblers for a leading production facility. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, training, and long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities
As a Chemical Assembler, you will support production and chemical processing operations, including:

Operating and monitoring chemical mixing processes using Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.

Facilitating chemical reactions: adding reactants, charging vessels, and overseeing processes.

Packaging finished products into drums and totes, labeling properly, and preparing for shipment.

Reading and following Safety Data Sheets (SDS), batch instructions, NFPA & HMIS labeling systems.

Loading/unloading products using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment with hand tools (wrenches, drills, tape measures).

Running and maintaining the ALAR wastewater treatment system.

Monitoring product quality through visual inspections and process charts.

Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times.

Supporting other departments and collaborating with chemical leads and supervisors.
Requirements

1–2+ years of experience in a chemical production or industrial environment (required).

Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Experience handling both dry and wet materials in a chemical setting.

Proficiency with power tools, industrial equipment, and measuring tools.

Knowledge of SDS, NFPA, HMIS systems, and chemical safety protocols.

Strong math skills for calculating quantities and documenting accurately.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Reliable, consistent, and process-driven with strong problem-solving ability.

(Bonus) Experience in carpentry, woodworking, or furniture repair.
Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Technical training or certifications in chemical operations or manufacturing a plus.

Hands-on experience in chemical or industrial processing strongly preferred.
Shifts & Hours
-
Training: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Regular Shift: 3rd Shift – 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Overtime available on all shifts (hours may vary slightly).

Full-time schedule with opportunities for long-term placement.
Pay & Benefits

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience.
