Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a reputable towing and vehicle recovery company. This is a full-time, entry-level opportunity that requires excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and consistent attendance.

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment handling incoming calls, entering vehicle data, and assisting customers who may be frustrated or upset. Reliability is essential — attendance is strictly enforced.


Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play an essential role in the daily operations of the towing company. Your duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers, impound lots, and businesses.

  • Logging vehicle information including VIN numbers, license plates, tow locations, and costs.

  • Accurately entering data into the system for every vehicle processed.

  • Preparing and sending invoices or bills to customers and companies.

  • Providing clear, professional, and empathetic service to customers — including those who may be upset or frustrated.

  • Coordinating with drivers and dispatch to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

  • Managing confidential vehicle and customer information.

  • Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.


Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent data entry and computer skills (accuracy and speed required).

  • Ability to stay calm and professional when handling angry or emotional customers.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Reliable attendance — no absences tolerated during the probationary period.

  • Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (must be punctual every day).

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous office, call center, or dispatch experience is a plus.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Customer service and problem-solving.

  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry systems).

  • Strong verbal and written communication.

  • Professional attitude and ability to multitask.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.


Shifts & Hours

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

  • Attendance is mandatory — missing even one day may result in termination.
