Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate for a reputable company in the Greensboro / High Point area. This is a full-time position offering steady hours, competitive pay, and a blend of both driving and warehouse responsibilities.
We are seeking a safety-focused, reliable, and physically capable driver who is comfortable performing hands-on warehouse tasks in addition to making local deliveries.
Responsibilities
As a CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate, your duties will include:

Safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle for local deliveries.

Loading and unloading freight, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Performing general warehouse tasks including inventory, stocking, staging, and shipping/receiving duties.

Driving approximately 50% of the time, with the remaining 50% spent in warehouse operations.

Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and material-handling equipment (training available if needed).

Ensuring accurate delivery documentation and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Communicating professionally with customers at delivery locations.

Following all company procedures and DOT safety regulations.
Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license (required).

Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.

Comfortable with a 50/50 split between driving and warehouse work.

Clean MVR and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Previous warehouse experience preferred (shipping/receiving, forklift, order staging).

Strong reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Warehouse experience (inventory, picking, loading).

Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training available if needed).

Shifts & Hours

Full-time, 1st Shift (Monday–Friday)

Hours typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, depending on delivery routes

Overtime may be available based on workload
