Weaver Operator – Textile Manufacturing (Experienced Only)
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Weaver Operators for a textile manufacturing facility in the Greensboro / High Point, NC area. This is a full-time opportunity working with textile machinery to produce high-quality woven and non-woven materials.
This role requires candidates with direct textile and weaving experience who can operate machinery, monitor production, and maintain strict quality standards.
🚫 This is not an entry-level role. Candidates without textile experience and strong tenure will not be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Weaver Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating weaving and textile production machinery to produce finished materials.
- Manually loading materials, including handling spindles and feeding materials into machines.
- Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings to maintain production efficiency.
- Performing quality control inspections on finished fabrics (texture, consistency, strength, appearance).
- Identifying defects in materials and ensuring product meets company standards.
- Conducting routine machine checks and assisting with basic maintenance.
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues to reduce downtime.
- Maintaining accurate production logs and material tracking.
- Assisting with material handling, staging, and palletizing finished goods.
- Maintaining a clean and safety-compliant work environment.
Requirements
- MUST have prior textile / weaving experience.
- 2–3 years of tenure in each previous position REQUIRED.
- Experience operating textile or weaving machinery.
- Ability to perform manual material handling and repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
🚫 Candidates without consistent tenure (2–3 years per role) will not be considered.
Skills & Qualifications
- Textile manufacturing and weaving experience.
- Machine operation and monitoring.
- Quality control and inspection skills.
- Understanding of fabric production and material flow.
- Strong organizational and production tracking ability.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Shifts & Hours
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Full-Time
- Overtime may be available based on production needs
Location: Greensboro, NC & High Point, NC
Pay & Benefits
- $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience.
