Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Box Truck Driver for a full-time, 1st shift opportunity. This role combines local driving responsibilities with hands-on warehouse support, including loading and unloading materials.
We are seeking a dependable candidate with box truck driving experience and a strong, tenured work history. This is a physically demanding role requiring consistent lifting and material handling.
Responsibilities
As a Box Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a box truck for local deliveries and pickups.
- Loading and unloading materials manually at both the warehouse and delivery sites.
- Assisting with material handling and warehouse operations when not driving.
- Operating a forklift to move materials (if certified/experienced).
- Verifying orders and ensuring accurate deliveries.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintaining delivery documentation and logs.
- Ensuring loads are secured properly and safely transported.
- Keeping vehicle and work area clean and organized.
Requirements
- Box truck driving experience REQUIRED.
- Minimum 2–3 years of tenure in previous roles REQUIRED.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Comfortable performing both driving and warehouse duties.
- Safety-focused mindset.

Skills & Qualifications
- Local delivery and route experience.
- Material handling and load securement knowledge.
- Forklift operation (preferred).
- Strong time management and organization.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Shifts & Hours
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday – Friday
- Full-Time
- Overtime may be available as needed
Pay & Benefits
- $18.00-$19.00 per hour
