Job Full Description
1st Shift Warehouse Associate
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join a growing distribution team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established company offering long-term career potential and excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (or become certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
