Job Full Description

 

• Shift:
  • Monday 7am-3:30pm
  • Tuesday - Thursday 7am-4:30pm
  • Friday 7am-12pm
• Pay - $15
• Responsibilities:
  • Create insulation elbows for pipe fittings.
  • Read and interpret a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
  • Produce both machine-made and miter-made fittings.
  • Operate a bandsaw to cut blocks for machine-made fittings and individual miters.
  • Use hot melt adhesive to assemble and glue miters together.
  • Work alongside a partner in the shop and perform mutual quality checks on orders before packaging
  • Set up the router with the appropriate wheel to match the specified inside diameter.
  • Use the fence to determine proper route placement.
  • Ensure the route is centered within the core by:
  • Dividing the core size in half to determine the center point.
  • Using the center measurement to position routes accurately.
  • Adjusting the table height as needed to keep the route centered.
  • Verify that the dust collection system is operating before beginning routing work.
  • Stack completed cores on pallets for transfer to the jacketing department or for packaging as plain insulation products.
