Located in High Point, NC
Pay: $22/hr
Manufacture stone/concrete pots and planters.
Measure and mix concrete/clay materials.
Measure and cut wood for molds and production.
Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks.
Move, wrap, and prepare finished products.
Follow daily production instructions and work independently.
Learn the production process during the first 2 weeks of training.
Work independently with minimal supervision by approximately the 3rd week.
Complete work accurately and at a steady, fast pace.
Follow measurements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Understand measurements such as grams, fluid ounces, and fractions.
Comfortable working with concrete/clay, wood, and tools.
Able to follow directions and learn quickly.
Concrete, clay, manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Independent and self-motivated.
Dependable and hardworking.
Quick learner.
Comfortable getting dirty and working in a gritty environment.
Able to keep up in a fast-paced production setting.
Must report to work sober and fit for duty.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods.
Comfortable performing repetitive, physical, hands-on work.
