Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Warehouse Associates for full-time opportunities across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This position focuses on order picking, packaging, staging, shipping/receiving, and material handling.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, organization, productivity, and safety are essential.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders using sales orders, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Verify part numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and units of measure before staging or packing orders.
- Properly package and label products for customer pickup, delivery, or shipment.
- Stage completed orders in designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Put away received products and materials in designated locations.
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
- Use a manual pallet jack to transport and stage materials.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, distribution, order picking, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
- Experience using manual pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Willingness to assist throughout multiple areas of warehouse operations.
Shifts & Hours
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Overtime as needed.
Pay & Benefits
- $15.00 – $17.00 per hour, dependent on prior experience.
