Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Furniture Sander to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have prior furniture industry experience and will be responsible for preparing wood frames for finishing by reading job tickets, inspecting for defects, and performing necessary repairs. Key Responsibilities: Read job tickets and notes to verify sanding specifications and options. Transport frames from the work station to designated holding areas. Inspect wooden frames for cracks, holes, and imperfections. Use putty and a putty knife to repair and fill damaged or uneven areas. Sand surfaces to a smooth finish, preparing furniture for the next stage of production. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines. Requirements: Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking required. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections. Skilled in the use of hand tools and sanding equipment. Ability to lift and move furniture frames as needed. Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
