Job Full Description
We are recruiting for a reliable, experienced Woodworking Machinist to join a local company's production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating various woodworking machines to cut and shape wood components for customer orders. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate the following machines:
-
Cut wood accurately to fulfill order specifications
-
Read and interpret measurements using a ruler and other measuring tools
-
Perform machine setup and basic programming as needed
-
Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area
-
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience operating the machines listed above

Strong understanding of measurement tools and reading a ruler accurately

Ability to set up and adjust machines independently
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
-
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
-
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate machinery

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs

Must be able to bend, reach, and work in a physically active environment for the duration of the shift
