Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Furniture Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembling unfinished wooden furniture by fitting doors, trays, and drawers, performing fine adjustments, and ensuring smooth operation and quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

Fit doors, trays, and drawers into unfinished wooden furniture pieces.

Trim and shape uneven or misshaped parts using chisels, files, sandpaper, hand planes, or jointer blades.

Use thumbtacks to level drawers and improve sliding function.

Fit and align prehinged doors, marking and drilling holes with a portable power drill.

Attach doors to cases or set them aside for finishing (e.g., painting).

Slide drawers and test doors to ensure proper function and fit.

Repair, replace, or lubricate defective hardware using hand tools and portable power tools.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:

Experience in furniture assembly or woodworking preferred.

Skilled in using hand tools and portable power tools.

Good eye for detail and ability to work with precision.

Ability to follow assembly instructions and read basic measurements.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
