Position Responsibilities:

- Assembles precut wood parts
- Attaches bun feet, legs and bases to knocked-up frame.
- Transports frames from work station to holding area.
- Return damaged parts for replacement.
- Write frame number on completed frame.
- Transports frames from work station to holding area.
- Properly store tools and supplies at the end of each shift.
- Maintains neat and orderly work station.
- Wears required safety glasses and foot wear; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Must have ability to learn quickly and recognize parts.
- Understand correct placement of parts, right / left sides, front / back.

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:
|
- Previous knowledge of furniture assembly.
|

Physical demands and work environment:
|
- Lift / Carry: Frequently lifting less than 20 lbs.; occasionally lifting in excess of 50 lbs.; team lift greater weights. Must be able to lift/remove frame from work table and push to holding area.
- Standing: Must be able to stand 8+ hours.
|
- Reach / Handle / Grasp: Repetitive use of hands required in a twisting motion to screw in buns and feet.
- Tool Usage: Must be able to use pneumatic, vibrating tools and reach all areas of frame placed on workstation; including glue gun, staple gun, rubber mallet for entire shift.
- Climbing: Must be able to climb ladder to access storage bins to place or remove parts.
- Environment: Indoors, environmentally controlled; heated / air-conditioned.
- Automation: Provided scissor lift for positioning.
