Forklift Operator June 2, 2025

Located in Benson, NC

Pay: $17

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products safely throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of items in designated areas.
Assist in order picking processes, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is preferred.
Ability to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
