Express is now hiring Forklift operators in Benson.
1st shift: $17/hr. 2nd shift: $18/hr.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products safely throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of items in designated areas.
- Assist in order picking processes, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- This position does require using a forklift with heights.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.
