Job Full Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct pallets using woodworking techniques, power tools, and fabrication methods to ensure structural integrity
- Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials and finished pallets within the warehouse
- Measure and assemble components accurately using calipers, sewing machines, and other precision tools
- Cut, shape, and join wood or other materials according to specifications
- Inspect completed pallets for quality control, safety compliance, and durability
- Utilize CNC machinery or machining equipment for precise fabrication when required
- Perform heavy lifting of raw materials and finished products to support production flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and troubleshoot fabrication issues
- Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of materials and finished pallets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge of tools such as saws, drills, sewing machines, and hand tools
- Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings or millwork plans accurately
- Experience with CNC machines or machining processes is a plus
- Knowledge of fabricating pallets or similar structures preferred
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and assembly tasks
- Basic understanding of sewing or garment construction is advantageous but not required
- Strong teamwork skills with effective communication abilities
