Job Full Description
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other non-CDL vehicles for local deliveries along designated routes
- Load, secure, and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation and delivery records
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment
- Provide professional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing client needs courteously
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving cargo
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments is preferred
