- Utilizing the Work Order tool and input from supervisor Manager, determine facility maintenance issues, and organize priorities.
- Conduct work in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Work with lead warehouse staff, Facilities Maintenance Manager, and Operations Manager at each branch to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in acceptable working order.
- Work with Facilities Manager to decide appropriate vendors and negotiate costs and obtain written estimates when applicable.
- Ensure all powered tool equipment is kept in good working order and accounted for, with operating instructions, and provide training for staff.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations.
- Ensure all hazardous materials are kept in appropriate storage and any relevant SDS documentation is retrieved and filed appropriately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school/GED required, Post high school education strongly preferred. Must have strong mechanical aptitude/skills.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a facility specialist or maintenance technician in both warehouse and office settings.
- Must have at least one year of experience working in one of the following disciplines: plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical Strongly prefer certifications/licenses in one of the following disciplines: plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Must have a valid NC Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification.
- Must be able to operate a scissor lift.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
