Experienced in operating tractor-trailers, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs, and providing excellent customer service. Key Job Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
• Transport and deliver freight according to customer schedules and company requirements.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) requirements, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs), fuel records, and shipping documentation.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, route changes, and any transportation issues.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of freight when required.
• Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company standards for safety and professionalism.
