Job Full Description
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical systems to support production and minimize downtime.
Essential Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including drive units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors, plumbing, and power tools
- Utilize PC skills to troubleshoot machine functions and operating software
- Evaluate equipment for repairs, enhancements, or upgrades
- Perform and document preventive maintenance
- Order parts, coordinate with vendors, and manage parts inventory
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Experience with conveyors, motors, power tools, and basic electrical wiring
- Familiarity with PLCs preferred
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work in an uncontrolled industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
