Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to support daily production in our steel manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, performing physical labor, and following safety policies at all times. This position is critical to ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and smooth workflow throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving raw steel materials and finished products
• Operate basic power tools and material-handling equipment (training provided)
• Perform grinding, deburring, cutting, and prepping steel components as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, removing scrap and debris regularly
• Follow written instructions and production guidelines to meet daily quotas
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with machine operators and welders to support workflow
• Adhere to safety protocols for PPE, equipment operation, and hazard prevention
