Job Title: Extrusion Operator
Job Summary:
The Extrusion Operator sets up, operates, and monitors extrusion machinery to produce plastic, metal, or rubber products according to specifications. This role ensures consistent product quality and safe, efficient production.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production schedules

Monitor machine parameters (temperature, speed, pressure) to maintain product quality

Inspect finished products for defects and adherence to specifications
-
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment

Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems
-
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
-
Experience operating extrusion or similar manufacturing equipment preferred

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-
Attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:

Manufacturing or production facility

May involve exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment
