Job Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate
Location: Lockbourne, Ohio
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Lockbourne, Ohio facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forklift operation and warehouse processes, along with experience using Crown and Raymond equipment.
You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, conducting inventory movement, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. This position requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a standing forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker.
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Participate in regular testing and evaluations for math and comparison skills.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent forklift experience is required.
- Equipment Experience: Must have hands-on experience with Crown and Raymond equipment.
- Testing: Must successfully complete equipment testing on standing forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
- Math & Comparison Skills: Must pass a math and comparison evaluation test.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
