Job Full Description
Forklift Driver (1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift) - $18-$22/hour - Columbus, OH
The position is available across all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), with a competitive pay range of $18–$22 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, and order pickers) to move materials within the warehouse.

Load and unload shipments of auto parts, ensuring products are stored in designated areas and organized.

Perform inventory checks and assist with stock rotation to maintain warehouse organization.

Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including proper use of protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety hazards or accidents.

Assist in staging materials for production and prepare shipments for outgoing orders.

Help with general warehouse duties such as cleaning and organizing aisles, palletizing products, and maintaining accurate records of materials handled.
Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse environment. Experience with auto parts or manufacturing is a plus.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation as the location is not on a bus line.

Background: No felonies in the past 5 years.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time while operating equipment.

Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all warehouse protocols.
Additional Skills (Preferred, but not required):

Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).

Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures in a high-paced environment.

Ability to operate material handling equipment beyond forklifts (such as pallet jacks or tuggers).
